Washington runs on the reception. Association events, embassy evenings, firm anniversaries, campaign and cause fundraisers, rooftop entertaining through the warm months — this is a city where a great deal of business gets done standing up with a glass in hand, and where the bar is watched more closely than almost anywhere else we work.
That shapes how we staff a DC event. Service needs to be quick and quiet, the queue cannot build, and the bar has to look composed from the first guest to the last. We would rather recommend a second bartender and be right about it than have your reception remembered for the wait.
Corporate receptions and client entertaining, association and nonprofit galas, holiday parties, product launches and brand activations, weddings and rehearsal dinners, milestone celebrations, and private dinners at home. Corporate clients tell us the useful part is that invoicing and certificates of insurance are handled without a back-and-forth.
The alcohol for your event is purchased by the host and is not included in our packages. We bring the bar service, the staff, the mixers and the garnish, and we prepare the shopping list. For corporate bookings we are glad to work directly with whoever handles your procurement so the order is right the first time.

Prices shown are for one bartender. Two- and three-bartender packages are listed in full on our packages page. Gratuity is not included and is always appreciated. Under state law the alcohol is purchased by the host; we prepare the shopping list for you.
